I wanted to volunteer for something that was close to home here with Salt Water Digital. Steve’s daughter Kaiya was diagnosed with neuroblastoma this year (she beat it, like a beaut), so she had to spend a lot of time in BC Children’s hospital. So, I volunteered with the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation to help them set up their annual race day event.
Last year, the BC race for kids raised over $1.9 million dollars. Funds raised directly support BC Children’s Hospital, the only full-service pediatric acute care hospital serving BC and the Yukon, ensuring that over 96,000 children annually receive top-tier care.
