For Earth Day 2025, the Trout Lake Community Centre in Vancouver held a free family-friendly celebration day that I volunteered at, representing the BC Wildlife Federation.
The BCWF are a non-profit and British Columbia’s leading conservation organization that aims to protect and promote the use of our environment for the benefit of present and future generations.
They offer a range of camps, outdoor activities and educational resources for residents all across British Columbia. From women’s groups and kids camps to fishing and archery programs, they educate people of all ages on protecting and enhancing the wildlife of Beautiful British Columbia.
