Building an SEO Strategy to Dominate Their Local Market

Goal

Our client had decent success from a previous SEO campaign however they struggled to reach the top spots for the main two keywords they were chasing. A national brand with a local office held those spots and they hadn’t had any luck dislodging them from those spots.

Because a significant portion of their business was being driven by local SEO leap frogging their competitor in the search results and strengthening their position in the map pack they stood to gain 20-25% more leads from SEO by achieving their goals.

Strategy

As with all of our local SEO campaigns we look at four components

On-Page SEO

Adding additional content, including more reviews and more detailed information related to the services offered

Citations

Adding additional citations to strengthen both the map pack and the local search results.

Links

We built quality backlinks to strengthen the overall domain and specific service pages

Build Relevancy

We added articles that answered customers frequently asked questions. This helps further establish the website relevancy and authority, helping us to rank for specific keywords.

After a 9 month SEO program, we have:

Achieved top rankings for both Eye Doctor + City and Optometrist + City.

Boosted rankings into the top three for: Eye Exam + City, Eye Glasses + City , Eye Care + City and Optical + City.
