Keyword Research and Strategic Planning
The first step in any Google Ads Campaign is to have a strategic Google Ads plan. Collaboration is key which is why we’ll always have a strategic planning session once the decision to move forward with Google Ads has been made.
From there, we move forward with keyword research - identifying potential high-performing keywords and what bids will allow us to be competitive.
Google Ads Account Setup & Configuration
We move on to setting up your new Google Ads account or reconfigure your existing account to follow best practices. We’ll ensure Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are installed if necessary and set up all of the necessary conversion tracking to track pre-determined KPIs.
In some cases, the setup and configuration can be quite complex depending on the integrations and features of your website.
We’ll write and design ads, configure ad extensions including call, structured snippets, sitelink, image and callout extensions.
Once everything is ready to go, we’re always happy to share full access to your Google Ads account. Side Note: If you’ve come across any agency that does not provide access for any reason RUN!
Ongoing Optimization and Google Ads Management
This is the stage where we really earn our management fee. Your account manager will be reviewing the data on a routine basis, eliminating any search terms that lack intent. This is one of the most important and time consuming aspects of running a campaign but is absolutely vital to the success of the account.
Further, we’ll be testing different ad copy, different keyword matching strategies and landing pages if necessary. Our goal is to get you the most high quality clicks for the best possible price. By doing so, this often results in the best conversion rates and conversion costs.
Google Ads Reporting
You’ll receive your first report, typically within 3 to 4 weeks of launch. After the initial report, we’ll provide you bi-monthly reports unless otherwise arranged. Our reports are simple and provide you with only relevant information you require to make decisions moving forward. You will not receive a 20 page PDF with fluff statistics to distract and confuse you. We care about performance and that typically means we care about conversions and ROI.
