Our Proven Ads Management Process
1. Market Assessment and Keyword Research
The first step in any Google Ads campaign is to develop a strategic Google Ads plan. Collaboration is key, which is why we always begin with a strategic planning session once you decide to proceed with Google Ads.
During this strategic planning session, we’ll discuss your target market in more detail from geographical location to age and gender. We’ll also develop a better understanding of the cost-per-acquisition goals for particular service to ensure we’re all on the same page.
Following that, we conduct thorough keyword research, identifying potential high-performing keywords and determining the bids needed to stay competitive.
Account Setup & Configuration
Next, we either set up your new Google Ads account or reconfigure your existing account to follow best practices. In some cases, we may advise that you set-up your own account to claim any promotions as Google typically offers a $600 ad credit to new advertisers.
We'll ensure Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are installed if necessary and set up the necessary conversion tracking to monitor your pre-determined KPIs.
Depending on the integrations and features of your website, the setup and configuration can sometimes be quite complex.
We’ll write and design ads, and configure ad extensions including call, structured snippets, sitelink, image, and callout extensions. If the account requires advanced verification, we’ll help you complete that as well.
Once everything is ready, we're always happy to share full access to your Google Ads account. Side Note: If you come across an ads agency that does not provide access for any reason, RUN!
On-Going Campaign Optimization
This is ultimately where we earn our management fee. Your account manager will regularly review available data – in some cases daily - eliminating any search terms that lack intent while promoting terms that have are most likely to continue to convert.
In addition, we will test different ad copies, keyword matching strategies, and landing pages if necessary. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality clicks at the best possible price, often resulting in optimal conversion rates and conversion costs.
Reporting
You’ll receive your first report typically within 3 to 4 weeks of launch. After the initial report, we’ll provide bi-monthly reports unless otherwise arranged. Our reports are straightforward and provide only the relevant information you need to make informed decisions moving forward. You won’t receive a 20-page PDF filled with fluff statistics meant to distract and confuse. We focus on performance, which means we prioritize KPIs conversions and ROI.
You can always reach out to your Google Ads account manager between reporting periods to provide feedback, ask questions, or address any other needs you might have as it relates to your advertising.
