Every business is unique and as such every web design proposal we send out is custom. On our consultation call we'll chat through your goals and objectives and learn more about your business. After the call you can expect a web design proposal in 1-3 business days depending on the size of the scope and complexity of the project. If you've requested an SEO or Google Ads quotation those will be included in the same proposal. We always break it all out so you know exactly how much each service costs.
You've decided that Salt Water Digital is the right company to build your website! Amazing news - the next step in our web design process is relatively straight forward. We'll send over an onboarding document that will take you 5-10 minutes to fill out. This document is intended to give us all of the information we need to move onto the next step which is a web design call.
Our web team lead, Jenn will setup a time for a 30-45 minute call. The objective of this call is to go over the design and to better understand the aesthetics you're looking for and any features that are needed.
If you have any websites that you like the design of or specific design elements you do or don't want to see this is the time to discuss those.
By now we have a good understanding of your business objectives and your design preferences. At this point we send all of this information to one of designers who will mockup a homepage in Figma.
The homepage is the most important page on your website - it will almost certainly receive the most visitors and prospective buyers often start on the homepage. We'll send over the first draft of the Figma design where you can provide feedback. Once we've finished the homepage design our designers will work on the rest of the site while our web developers will begin building out the homepage.
Congratulations, you are 90% through the process. At this point we have the homepage and secondary pages designed, approved and built out. This is your chance to review the website to ensure it's exactly as you'd like to see it. But don't worry if you need to make changes down the road that's what the last step of our process is for. Once you provide feedback on the design we'll finalize the website, get it all mobile optimized and launch your brand new website.
We offer on-demand website updates & edits for all of our web builds. Clients love this part of the service because it makes maintaining and keeping your site up to date a breeze. Any time you have a change you'd like to see made you send our support team an email and within 24-48 business hours (usually less) those changes are done.

We offer on demand updates with our human support during our normal business hours (9am – 4pm PST). Need an image changed? No problem. A team member needs to be added? We got it covered. Have a blog post that you need added? We can help with that.
Our web hosting & maintenance plan is straight forward. A 12 month commitment that can be bought out at anytime. Once the 12 months are over, cancel anytime. We’ll package the files up and send them to you to deploy on any other web host.
