Taylor Volunteers at the Parkinson SuperMom Walk

This Mother’s Day, I volunteered at the Parkinson SuperMom Walk in West Vancouver. This walk is a way to fundraise for Parkinson Canada and to raise awareness about the disease.

Parkinson’s Disease has deeply affected my family. My grandpa, aunt, and dad are all in the fight. Currently, there is no cure for Parkinson’s. However, there has been an increase in research and treatment options in recent years.

Fundraisers like the SuperMom Walk are the reason we are making progress in treating Parkinson’s Disease. The money raised through this event goes directly toward funding research programs, supporting people living with the disease, and advocacy initiatives.

The SuperMom Walk takes place every Mother’s Day in cities across Canada. I highly recommend participating if you want to support the fight for a future where no one is limited by Parkinson’s.
