Berdeng Kalabaw (translation: Green Water Buffalo) is a resource recovery company based in the Philippines. They conveniently collect and sort recyclable materials, leading them towards sustainable endpoints to give them new life.
Since I shop online frequently, I always get my packages in cardboard boxes and in plastic mailers and bubble wrap. So I collected months worth of these recyclables (about 13 pounds worth) as well as a few old monitors that were old and defective, and handed them over to Berdeng Kalabaw.
They have several drop-off points around the metro where people can donate all kinds of recyclables like paper, plastic, metal and e-waste. Berdeng Kalabaw will then sort and repurpose these recyclables, diverting them away from landfills so that #NoWasteIsWasted
